I remember sneaking out for lunch during my last year of high school. Several friends of mine and I literally ran from the school grounds back to my childhood house where I prepared a spaghetti dinner and offered my underaged high school guests, my school mates, a glass of wine with lunch. Since then, I have been hooked on wine with lunch and indeed, I even have wine with dinner as a part of my daily routine.

Since high school I have studied and drank wine around the world; doing everything to increase my knowledge and my palate. One of the most memorable experiences in my wine education was the California Wine Train that I took in 1996 when I first immigrated to the United States. I felt that I had opened the last door in my educational process, little did I know but I had only just begun my education.

I have had the pleasure of building wine cellars for clients, pairing wine with food around the globe, and learning as much as a can about wines from around the world! Years later, I am still learning, only this time I am learning with others through a series of wine virtual wine tasting experiences that I have hosted during the pandemic. For the first time I have had the pleasure of pairing wine with fundraising and it has been an incredible hit!
